[ARCHIVED] Fire at Havens Apartment, Fountain Valley

Haven Fire

Upon arrival, firefighters found a fully engulfed carport with approximately 35 vehicles in it. Responding Fountain Valley Fire Department personnel quickly established an offensive fire attack which contained the fire to the carport area. The nearby residential units of the 10275 building were promptly evacuated and checked for any fire extension into the apartments and attic space. Heat and smoke damage was found in multiple units. Of the 16 damaged, 15 were occupied at the time of the fire. All of the temporarily displaced residents were assisted by the Red Cross and placed in a local hotel. 


Haven Fire

The fire went to a 3rd Alarm and FVFD was assisted by Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Garden Grove Fire Departments, and Orange County Fire Authority. No injuries were reported to any civilians or fire personnel. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
