[ARCHIVED] Alert: Slater Avenue Pile Driving Begins!

Slater Avenue Pile Driving Activities

WHAT: Crews are set to begin pile driving activities for the new Slater Avenue bridge as part of the I-405 Improvement Project.
WHERE: Adjacent to Slater Avenue on the northbound and southbound sides of I-405. Crews will also drive piles near columns of the old bridge.
WHEN: Pile driving activities are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Nov. 13, and will take up to 6 weeks to complete. This work will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will occur on weekdays. *The duration of this work may change depending on site conditions*
WHY: Pile driving is necessary to construct the foundation for the new Slater Avenue bridge.

Please be advised this work may be loud. Dates are subject to change due to inclement weather or other operational factors.
