[ARCHIVED] Good News: OCTA Student Shuttle Services for Slater Avenue Closure

I-405 improvement Project_Slater Shuttle Service Detour Map

Student shuttle services for Slater closure will start on Monday, September 24. Here are the specifics of the service:

·         Times: 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday

·         Stops: Slater and Starfish (east of I-405) and at Slater and Dolphin (west of I-405); see attached map.

·         Vehicle: Nine-passenger van; shuttle driver will make a continuous loop along the route.

·         Requirements: Service is limited to students with a valid student ID, which they will be required to present upon boarding.

·         Additional information: The shuttle will not be equipped for bicycles; bicyclists should use the recommended detour.

·         Cost: There is no charge to use the shuttle service.

Please note that OCTA will make adjustments as needed to accommodate additional students, adding a second or third van if necessary.
