Every May, the Administration on Aging leads our nation's observance of Older American's Month. Of course, we hope you feel celebrated by all of us at the Center at Founders Village every day! More than ever before, older Americans are working longer, trying new things, and engaging in their communities. The Center at Founders Village offers many classes, seminars, and other activities for our senior population. We also like to pass on any other opportunities we hear about that can enhance your life. Did you know the Fountain Valley Library at 17635 Los Alamos has a couple events that will teach you more about the modern technology?
- Tech Social is an intergenerational program for seniors and teens. The event is at the library from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on May 19th and June 16th. It is a free program which brings together seniors and teens to mingle and get help with Modern Technologies. Call 714-962-1324 for more information.
- Tech Tuesday is also held at the Fountain Valley library and teaches you how to download E-books, movies, music, and more, every Tuesday by appointment at 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Bring your tablets, phones, etc. Contact the Library at 714-962-1324 to reserve your spot or stop by their service desk.
Happy Learning!
