FVPD Officers arrived on scene; and the driver of the getaway car, identified as 23-year-old Tyshay Galloway, attempted to flee the area but was boxed in by a Patrol unit. A male suspect, identified as 20-year-old Cody Walker, attempted to flee the area on foot and was quickly apprehended by K9 “Figo.” The two outstanding suspects remained in one of the businesses and were taken into custody when Officers set up a perimeter and called them out. They were identified as 21-year-old John McClain and 19-year-old Hanif Washington. All four suspects are from Long Beach. Walker received medical treatment for a dog bite, and all four suspects were transported to FVPD.
During the investigation, Garden Grove Police Department advised of several commercial burglaries that occurred during the night in their city. During a search of the getaway car, Officers found money rolls with receipts linking them to one of the commercial burglaries in Garden Grove.
After all four suspects were interviewed and processed, they were booked into Orange County Jail for burglary.
