IRS SCAM
Don't be a victim of an IRS phone scam. The IRS WILL NOT CALL YOU. Educate your friends and relatives about this. These scam artists target the elderly as well as immigrants in hopes of scaring them with the threat of being arrested for not paying their taxes. They will try and set up an immediate payment following the threat.
There is a good chance a new scam will show up for this tax season. Just remember, THE IRS WILL NOT CALL YOU.

REGULAR SCAM ALERT
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU RECEIVE A PHONE CALL REQUESTING PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE.
Due to the increase in Identity Theft, I wanted to remind you NOT to give personal information out over the phone. If you feel like your caller might be a legitimate caller, let them know you will be calling them back on the number you know to be a valid number.
NEW EMAIL SCAM
You might receive an email from an investment banker, indicating one of your relatives have died in a terrorist attack. The scam is that you need to reply in order to find out what your relative might have left to you in their will or what property they have for you as part of your relative's estate. If you are a beneficiary of a relatives estate, you will be notified by mail rather than email.
