The City of Fountain Valley provides an online registration program for the community to use while registering for programs/classes. The outdated program, left in place, would have meant equipment upgrades every 3 years and staff time to maintain it. Our best solution to solve the issue was to continue to use our current vendor that offers a feature to enhance and expand our capabilities. We have chosen VSI-RecTrac 3.1, a cloud-based program. This updated program means that we are fully hosted by Vermont Systems, eliminating and saving staff hours in the IS Department, allowing staff to dedicate their time to other duties.The city will no longer have the capital equipment to maintain and replace and will realize additional savings yearly, which is allocated for licensing.
