Drop off a new, unwrapped toy or sports equipment at any local fire station. Fountain Valley’s Firefighters are lighting a spark for needy children. The firefighters are participating in the annual “Spark of Love” Toy Drive for disadvantaged children. Donations of new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment are sought for the toy drive, and collection boxes are set up at Fountain Valley Fire Stations, City Hall, Recreation Center and Founders Village.

When:

Monday after Thanksgiving through 5pm on Dec. 24

Where:

  • Fountain Valley Fire Station One   17737 Bushard St
  • Fountain Valley Fire Station Two   16767 Newhope St
  • Fountain Valley City Hall                10200 Slater Ave
  • Recreation Center                          16400 Brookhurst St
  • Founders Village                            17967 Bushard St
  • All Fire Stations in Orange County

All toys collected by the Fountain Valley Fire Department will be distributed to needy children in Orange County. We are hoping for early donations to ensure that the toy warehouse will be able to fill all toy requests before the holidays.

The “Spark of Love” Toy Drive is sponsored by ABC7 television and fire departments in Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

Further information about the “Spark of Love” Toy Drive may be obtained by calling the Fountain Valley Fire Department Fire Prevention Division at (714) 593-4430.
