On any given night in Orange County, there are approximately 4,452 people who are homeless.
On January 28, 2017 the Street & Sheltered Point-in-Time Count & Survey is conducted across Orange County. This is an essential step and required by HUD for the county to maintain funding used in the fight to end homelessness. We count to understand homelessness in our community in order to end it. The”Point-In-Time” count & survey provides statistically accurate data on the homeless population in Orange County. OUR GOAL IS 1,500 VOLUNTEERS IN 2017! Click on “How to Volunteer” to find out more!
