The next upcoming event is the Joint City Council and Planning Commission meeting regarding the draft Environmental Impact Report. This meeting will include a presentation from the environmental specialist hired to analyze the proposed Specific Plan for impacts on the physical environment. The public will have an opportunity to comment on the adequacy of the Report that has been prepared. This meeting will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 6:00 pm in the City Council Chambers located at 10200 Slater Avenue.
In addition to the above mentioned meeting, City staff will hold community outreach and education meetings in the community to bring awareness to the proposed Specific Plan and answers questions and concerns of the community. These informal town hall meetings will be held at three locations that are convenient to residents in the areas surrounding the project area. These meetings will take place:
