With Independence Day rapidly approaching, Fire Marshal Michelle Rudaitis would like to take this opportunity to share some information regarding the enforcement of illegal fireworks within the City of Fountain Valley. As you know, it is illegal to use and/or possess any type of firework in the City. The Police Department will dispatch an officer for the fireworks/party calls. PD will handle the situation with a warning, if the responsible party complies. If not, PD will confiscate and arrest the responsible party.
