On January 6, 2020, at 11:24 a. m., Officers from the Fountain Valley Police Department responded to a traffic collision involving a 2001 Harley-Davidson Sportster motorcycle and a silver 2019 Chevrolet Trax at Bushard Street and Talbert Avenue.
The motorcyclist, a 24-year old male of Mission Viejo, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The driver of the Chevrolet, a 91-year old male of Corona, was contacted at the scene. He was interviewed and was later released. A preliminary investigation determined drugs or alcohol were not factors in the collision. Officers have cleared from the scene but the investigation is ongoing.
