On August 16, 2016 at approximately 12:45 AM, Fountain Valley Police Officers responded to the 11800 block of Wisteria Avenue in reference to a suspicious subject knocking on doors and looking into windows. When Officers arrived on scene, they determined two residential burglaries had just occurred. After searching the area, Officers located the suspect and detained him. The suspect was identified as Alfredo Rodriguez, 35 years of age, from Cypress. During a search of Rodriguez Officers discovered a loaded handgun which was reported stolen. Rodriguez is a Post Release Community Supervision (AB 109) probationer and a self-admitted gang member. Rodriguez was arrested for Burglary, Possession of Stolen Property, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Ammunition by a Felon, Carrying a Concealed Firearm, and Carrying a Loaded Firearm in Public. Rodriguez was booked into Orange County Jail. Case #: 16-33849.
