As a follow up to the initial Press Release issued by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, the Fountain Valley Police Department is releasing the booking photograph of suspect John Allen Wagner, 48 years of age, from Westminster.
Wagner committed five armed robberies in Fountain Valley from February 2015, to July 2015. Wagner targeted grocery stores and drug stores including Albertsons, Walgreens, and Rite-Aid. On July 20, 2016, at approximately 10:30 PM, Wagner was taken into custody by Fountain Valley Police Officers as he exited the Ralphs grocery store located in the 18000 block of Brookhurst in Fountain Valley. A victim from one of the previous robberies recognized Wagner inside the store and called the Police.
