With 5 classrooms, 5 teachers, a host of parent chaperones and School Superintendent Principal in attendance, Cox Elementary School visitors were treated like kings and queens for the day.

Welcomed by the City Manager and Mayor Brothers, the department staff went all out with the kids, sliding into the back of a Police car, Fire/Paramedics performing a heart test with results and all. Public Works gave a tour of the inside of their trucks while Finance tested on Revenue versus Expense. The kids experienced a birds eye view of traffic monitoring room, and after Planning's presentation, "that's the biggest map I have ever seen" was echoed by one of the enthusiastic kids as we went to our next stop. They were able to visit the City's computer Data Center and then on to the holding cells in the Police department.

Even the teachers/parents opted for that photo op! The kids also wrote their first resume with the help of Human Resources. What an AMAZING day! It certainly was a time for the Fountain Valley TEAM to be PROUD!
