National Night Out & Movie in the Park on Tuesday, August 2

The City of Fountain Valley is proud to host National Night Out on August 2, 2022, at the Fountain Valley Sports Park. This event starts at 6 p.m. and will feature displays from The Fountain Valley Police Department, West County SWAT, K9 demonstrations, The Fountain Valley Fire Department and Fire Truck, Neighborhood Watch, Neighbors Helping Neighbors, and offer children’s fingerprinting, games, and much more. Bring your blankets and chairs to watch the movie Sing 2, which will start at dusk. Activities leading up to the movie include games, prizes, and pizza & chips for the first 500 attendees.

Luau Dance Friday on Friday, August 5 

Hula on over and join the fun! The Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities is hosting a Luau Dance on Friday, August 5 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Center at Founders Village Senior & Community Center, located at 17967 Bushard Street. This Hawaiian-themed, in-person evening is open to adults, ages 18+ and includes a DJ, dancing, refreshments, a raffle & lots of fun! The cost is $1 cash at the door and no RSVP is required. You do not have to be a Fountain Valley resident to attend. The Center at Founders Village staff invites you to our upcoming Luau Luncheon on Tuesday, August 9 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. You will be transported to a Hawaiian vacation with Hawaiian-inspired lunch, island entertainment, and raffle prizes!  BBQ Music Festival at the Fountain Valley Sports Park August 19 - 21

The BBQ Music Fest, happening August 19 - 21, 2022, is an all-in-one outdoor family festival, and of course, the best BBQ in town. Live music, award-winning pit masters from all over the country and local grillers will be grilling their best BQQ to battle it out. Come hungry for mouth-watering ribs, pulled pork, tri-tip, sausage, chicken and much more! There will also be dancing, karaoke, and fun for the whole family.
