Free Mobile Dentistry

Mobile Dentist Services for age 60 and Over

Hosted through the FV Temporary Park Permit Program, The Mobile Dentistry will be at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center at 16400 Brookhurst Street on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for seniors 60 and over. This service includes a free exam and cleaning.  Please call 866-893-3684 to make an appointment.

St Patrick Day

March 12th: St. Patrick’s Day – Lucky Four-Leaf Clover Craft Video

Join the Recreation Department on YouTube and have fun making your very own lucky four-leaf clover.  The YouTube channel is FVRecreation and features a variety of videos for you to enjoy and participate in from home.

Blood Drive – Friday, March 19, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Have you registered to donate blood yet? Join the City of Fountain Valley and the Southern California Blood Bank on Friday, January 29, 2021, between 9 a.m.-3 p.m. to donate blood. The Southern California Blood Bank provides their donations to local community partners and hospitals such MemorialCare Medical Center and Hoag Hospital. The bloodmobile will be on site in the parking lot by the Fountain Valley Recreation Center, 16400 Brookhurst Street. Springo Bingo
March 27th: FV Springo Bingo at the Park 

Join us at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center for a fun and unique version of bingo (for kids). The Easter Bunny is super busy, but needs your help in finding the code to unlock the Easter Egg Vault. Arrive at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center and remain in your car for instructions from one of our Bunny Helpers. The images are hidden in five of our local parks. Once you found all the images, come back to the Recreation Center to claim your reward. There are a limited amount of rewards (up to 300 children). We look forward to seeing you there.

Fountain Valley Sports Park – Team Practice Begins
Fountain Valley Girls Softball and Fountain Valley Little League started practicing in February and are waiting for guidance of when they will be able to play games.

Fountain Valley Pony Baseball will start practicing in March and are waiting for guidance of when they will be able to play games.

AYSO Region 5, Strikers and Pateadores soccer groups started practicing the week of February 22. They too are waiting for the opportunity to play games based on guidance from the California Department of Public Health.
