The City of Fountain Valley (City) has scheduled a Playground Equipment Improvement Project at Cordata Park to replace the existing playground equipment with a modern playground system. Construction started on Monday, August 24, 2020, and is expected to be completed by the last week of September 2020, subject to weather delays and other unforeseen conditions. Working hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.
While the project has been planned to minimize impacts to the public, some construction inconveniences are inevitable. The playground at Cordata Park will be closed during construction. Residents will be able to access the rest of the park. Please avoid entering any fenced or coned off area at all times during the construction timeframe. The City asks for your cooperation and consideration while construction is underway. Please walk carefully through the construction zones.
