The City of Fountain Valley continues to adhere to Governor Gavin Newsom's orders, https://www.gov.ca.gov/california-takes-action-to-combat-covid-19/, and Orange County Health Officer's orders and recommendations, https://occovid19.ochealthinfo.com/article/oc-health-officers-orders-recommendations. Please do not let your guard down; continue to stay at home except for essential activities. Social distancing of a minimum 6 feet apart and washing your hands often will help reduce the spread of COVID-19. County or Orange Health Officer Dr. Nichole Quick strongly encourages all residents who engage in essential activities outside the home to wear face coverings. Effective Friday, April 24, 2020, all employees of any grocery store, pharmacy/drug store, convenience store, gas station, restaurant, food preparation establishment, or retail store in Orange County who may have contact with the public must wear a cloth face covering while at work. For current and updated information related to COVID-19, please go to the city website. We are all in this together and we thank the community for doing their part to save lives.
City Hall and all facilities are closed to the public. City staff will be available to assist over the phone or via email. For a list of department contact information, please click here.
