School Striping

On August 26th, 2019, the City scheduled to have all school midblock crosswalk restriped throughout the City to increase traffic reflectivity and commuter awareness before the 2019-2020 school year.

In order to improve the conditions of the crosswalk paint that were old and faded away.  The crosswalks were refreshed with new thermoplastic throughout the City at the locations of Bushard St/Honeysuckle Ave, Newhope St/Primerose Ave, Talbert Ave/Santa Celica, and Ellis Ave/Santa Andrea St to help benefit students walking to and from school. The project for restriping the crosswalk took place from August 26th, 2019  and was completed on August 30th, 2019.
