Talbert Bridge & Bushard Bridge Closures

The I-405 Improvement Project is tentatively scheduled to reopen Slater Avenue Bridge on August 30, 2019, to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Surrounding work will be ongoing for landscaping after the bridge is open. Shortly following the opening of Slater Avenue Bridge, Talbert Avenue and Bushard Street Bridges will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic in preparation for demolition and reconstruction.

Utility relocation has been ongoing for these bridges for the last few weeks. Crews have also been clearing the trees and ground-cover in the area in preparation for the demolition.
