The Prado-Related Management Company will begin accepting applications for Prado on September 9, 2021. The application period for Prado will run from September 9, 2021 through October 11, 2021. Applications received after October 11, 2021 will not be received.
Prado Family Homes, located at 16790 S. Harbor Blvd., is a 50-unit affordable development for primarily extremely-low and very-low income families. Eight units have been designated as permanent supportive housing (PSH) units for veterans who are homeless or at risk or homelessness. Located in desirable Fountain Valley, California, Prado was designed for families and individuals to flourish. Whether you are a local Fountain Valley resident or moving to Fountain Valley from another location, you are sure to enjoy the many amenities and community connectivity that can be experienced at Prado.
Prado will offer a Mid-Century Modern design with comfortable one, two, and three-bedroom apartment homes. Each apartment home will feature a kitchen with quartz countertops, vinyl plank-style flooring, ceiling fans, spacious closets, some paid utilities, communal outdoor space, and more.
This friendly environment will provide residents with an abundance of recreational amenities, including a barbecue and picnic area, outdoor youth playground and physical activity space, separate teen hangout area, community multipurpose room, and community laundry. Prado residents will have convenient access to public transportation and the 30-mile, public Santa Ana River Trail that offers recreation opportunities for bicyclists, runners, and walkers.
The development will be comprised of four residential buildings, including one community building complete with property management and social services offices. There will be 50 tuck-under or carport parking spaces plus 44 uncovered spaces. Onsite amenities will include a multi-purpose room, tot lot, barbeque and picnic area, community laundry area, plus plenty of outdoor spaces, including a separate area for teen fitness and recreation. Onsite social services will be administered by LifeSTEPS.
