On Tuesday September 15, the Fountain Valley City Council approved an amendment to the Emergency Outdoor Use Activity Order. The approved amendment allows specified businesses, religious institutions, cultural activities, gyms, and physical fitness facilities with free access to operate in open park space or public parking lots via the Temporary Public Park and Open Space use permit.
The Emergency Outdoor Use Activity Order approving the Temporary Public Park and Open Space use permit provides local support for businesses that have been economically impacted by the pandemic and have limited operational capacity due to the state and local health guidelines.
If your Fountain Valley business (must have a Fountain Valley Business License) currently has an indoor occupancy restriction due to the OCHCA/CDPH Orders, the City of Fountain Valley is pleased to provide free park space (permit required) to operate. To participate in the Emergency Outdoor Use Activity program please follow the instructions below:
• Fill out the attached Temporary Public Park and Open Space Use Permit Application
• Send the completed application to FVRecreation@FountainValley.org
• City Staff will review and respond within 3 business days
We greatly appreciate your adherence to the state and local health regulations and enthusiastically encourage your participation in this program if you deem it beneficial to your Fountain Valley business.
