Did you know the City is updating its General Plan?

The Fountain Valley General Plan is the primary long-range policy and planning document guiding the city's physical development, conservation, and improvement. Every city in California is required by state law to adopt a general plan containing goals and
policies that expresses the community's vision of its future, improves public safety, and enhances access to and the use of available resources.

The City's General Plan was last comprehensively updated in 1995. For more information review the project Fact Sheet, Public Involvement Plan, and Schedule.

Have ideas for our future?

They say a photo is worth a thousand words. Tell us what you like and the ideas that inspire you for Fountain Valley’s future. The link below will take you to a photo collector where you can upload photos of things in the City and ideas from elsewhere that you would like to share.
