December 6, 2007 —  ValleyCrest Landscape Development is continuing on schedule with the Fountain Valley Recreation Center Master Plan Expansion. Both the existing 55-acre area and the 23-acre expansion area are currently under construction.

The contractor continues work on the installation of the storm drain. Curb, gutter and sidewalk improvements have begun in the areas North of the Recreation Building, and the contractor is preparing to continue with the hardscape throughout the existing 55-acrea area during the months of December and January. The irrigation and park lighting system installations are continuing.

Construction continues on the buildings and structures.  Building locations A, B, and C are all under construction. The contractor has begun the installation of the walls.  Rough plumbing and electrical have been completed. This work will continue through the beginning of 2008.

The ball field fencing and lighting installation has begun.  Most of this work has taken place in the 23-acre expansion area.  This work will continue through the beginning of 2008.
