Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Fountain Valley Recreation and Community Services Division is excited to announce the annual Easter Egg Hunt! The Easter Egg Hunt is a free event that will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 8-11:30 a.m. at the Recreation Center and Sports Park, located at 16400 Brookhurst Street. Kids age 11 and under: remember to bring a basket to collect your Easter Eggs! There will be crafts, inflatables, carnival games, a $5 pancake breakfast by the Fountain Valley Kiwanis Club, and $2 pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Measure HH Oversight Committee Update

The City Council completed the interviews for 12 candidates for the Measure HH - Essential City Services Oversight Committee and will approve the 5 committee members at the April 4 City Council Meeting. Once appointment has been approved, the term of each committee member will be determined through a lottery.

2017 Business Beautification Award Winners

Congratulations to the Recess Room and Fountain Valley Town Center, this year's winners of the Fountain Valley Business Beautification Award. The Recess Room, located on Brookhurst Street near Ellis Avenue, was recognized as a business that has made substantial improvements to the exterior of its building and/or landscape. Fountain Valley Town Center, located at Brookhurst Street and Edinger Avenue, was also recognized for consistently maintaining their property in an attractive and well-kept manner.
