Fountain Valley Police Department provides Live Scan fingerprint services for pre-employment criminal history background checks. These criminal history checks may be required as a condition of employment, licensing or certification. The California Department of Justice requires applicant fingerprints be electronically submitted by law enforcement personnel or other certified technicians. Applicants are required to bring the California Department of Justice forms, which can be downloaded from the California Attorney General's website at: ag.ca.gov/fingerprints.
